Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using the CTS Air Conditioning and Heating website, service request features, HVAC Monitor portal, and CTS Runner game.

Agreement to these Terms
By using this website, contacting CTS through the website, using the HVAC Monitor portal, playing CTS Runner, submitting information, or using any online feature provided by CTS Air Conditioning and Heating, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website, portal, game, or online features.
In these Terms, “CTS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CTS Air Conditioning and Heating. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the website, portal, game, or related online services.
Who we are and what these Terms cover
CTS provides HVAC, water heater, plumbing, and related home-service work in the Phoenix area. These Terms cover use of the CTS website, online content, service request features, forms, customer communications, HVAC Monitor, any customer portal, CTS Runner, leaderboard features, and other online tools we make available.
Separate written estimates, invoices, service agreements, installation agreements, warranties, financing terms, equipment documents, subscription terms, or manufacturer terms may also apply to specific jobs, products, or programs. If a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms for a specific paid service, the more specific written agreement controls for that service.
Privacy Policy and monitored equipment data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information. By using the website, HVAC Monitor, portal, forms, or CTS Runner, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
HVAC Monitor may collect technical data about a home, HVAC system, account, or device. Depending on the device and configuration, this may include compressor, condenser, and blower motor current draw; supply and return air temperatures; pressure readings; device audio-level or noise readings; Wi-Fi SSID; Wi-Fi signal strength; device status; equipment status; alerts; and related diagnostic or performance data.
By enrolling in or using HVAC Monitor, you give CTS permission to collect, store, process, analyze, use, create reports from, develop products from, improve services with, and otherwise use HVAC Monitor data as described in these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any program-specific terms. We may also share, license, sell, transfer, or commercialize HVAC Monitor data, equipment-performance data, device telemetry, or related analysis where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
Website content is informational
The information on this website is provided for general educational and service-related purposes. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, water heater, and equipment issues can involve safety risks and should be evaluated by qualified people. Website content is not a substitute for an on-site inspection, professional diagnosis, code review, permit review, or manufacturer instructions.
Do not rely on website content, blog-style explanations, component pages, glossary definitions, game content, automated readings, or HVAC Monitor data as emergency instructions. If there is fire, smoke, gas smell, carbon monoxide concern, electrical arcing, flooding, medical danger, or another emergency, leave the area if needed and contact emergency services, the gas utility, or the appropriate authority.
Service requests, estimates, scheduling, and field work
Submitting a form, calling, texting, emailing, or using an online request feature does not guarantee that service is available, that same-day service is available, or that a specific repair can be completed. Scheduling depends on location, access, weather, workload, urgency, parts, equipment type, service scope, and other practical factors.
Information provided online or by phone helps screen and schedule a call, but it is not a final diagnosis. Repair or replacement decisions depend on what is found during inspection and testing. Pricing, estimates, financing, warranties, manufacturer coverage, code details, permit needs, and job scope may change when the actual equipment, access, wiring, ductwork, plumbing, safety concerns, or surrounding conditions are reviewed.
Diagnostic fees, service fees, trip charges, estimates, deposits, payment terms, warranties, and cancellation rules may be explained separately for a specific job. Free estimates may apply to qualifying replacement or installation estimates, not necessarily to diagnostic or repair calls.
HVAC Monitor service limitations
HVAC Monitor is intended to help observe equipment behavior and provide useful data. It is not a life-safety device, fire alarm, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, water leak alarm, security system, medical device, code-compliance tool, or guaranteed diagnostic system. It does not replace maintenance, professional service, emergency response, or your responsibility to respond to obvious equipment problems.
HVAC Monitor readings may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, interrupted, or affected by sensor placement, device condition, power, internet service, Wi-Fi signal, router settings, equipment access, environmental conditions, software updates, server availability, or other issues. Alerts, portal access, emails, texts, calls, charts, and notifications may not be delivered in time or at all.
You are responsible for maintaining safe access to equipment, keeping power and internet service available where needed, protecting account credentials, telling us if account information changes, and contacting CTS or emergency services when a problem needs attention. Do not ignore a hot home, repeated breaker trips, burning smells, smoke, gas smell, water leaks, unusual noise, or other visible signs of trouble because a monitor has not sent an alert.
Accounts, portal access, and communications
Some features may require an account, email address, phone number, login, password, device registration, or customer approval. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity through your account unless the law says otherwise.
If you provide an email address or phone number, you authorize CTS to contact you about service requests, appointments, account access, HVAC Monitor activity, alerts, billing, equipment issues, and related operational messages. Message and data rates may apply. Marketing messages, if any, may be subject to separate consent and opt-out rules. Operational, safety, account, appointment, billing, or service-related messages may still be sent where needed.
CTS Runner and leaderboard terms
CTS Runner is a general-audience website game provided for entertainment. If you submit a name or display name for the leaderboard, it may be shown publicly with your score and related game information. Do not submit a full legal name, private information, phone number, email address, address, offensive language, impersonation, or another person’s information.
CTS may moderate, edit, hide, or remove leaderboard entries, names, scores, or game activity at any time. We may also remove entries that appear abusive, automated, fraudulent, offensive, misleading, or inconsistent with these Terms. Unless we clearly state otherwise in written contest rules, CTS Runner does not offer prizes, sweepstakes, gambling, or cash awards.
You may not cheat, attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, manipulate, or interfere with CTS Runner, the leaderboard, or site code.
User submissions, photos, feedback, and content
You may send us information such as service details, equipment photos, property photos, messages, reviews, feedback, leaderboard names, or other content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to send that content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You give CTS permission to use submissions as needed to respond, schedule, diagnose, provide service, document work, maintain records, improve products and services, protect the website, enforce these Terms, and operate the business. If you send suggestions, ideas, product feedback, or improvement requests, we may use them without owing compensation. We will handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not send information you do not have permission to share. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, misleading, infringing, private, confidential, or harmful content.
Acceptable use
You may not use the website, portal, HVAC Monitor, CTS Runner, forms, or related systems to break the law, violate another person’s rights, disrupt service, attempt unauthorized access, test security without permission, upload malicious code, scrape data, overload systems, impersonate another person, interfere with monitoring devices, manipulate scores, or misuse CTS content, data, or systems.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to online features, accounts, portals, leaderboard participation, or monitoring features if we believe these Terms have been violated, if continued access creates risk, if a program ends, if payment or account issues exist, or if we need to protect CTS, customers, equipment, or systems.
Ownership and intellectual property
The website, text, page layouts, graphics, photos, videos, game content, software, code, logos, trademarks, service names, HVAC Monitor materials, reports, charts, and other CTS materials are owned by CTS or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may use the website for normal personal or business inquiry purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, sell, mirror, scrape, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute CTS materials without permission except where allowed by law.
Third-party services and links
The website and services may link to or use third-party websites, maps, videos, payment tools, financing providers, analytics tools, email providers, text-message providers, hosting services, manufacturers, review platforms, social media platforms, or other services. CTS does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, availability, or security. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
No guarantee of uninterrupted online service
We try to keep useful online features available, but we do not guarantee that the website, forms, HVAC Monitor, portal, CTS Runner, leaderboard, alerts, data storage, charts, reports, or other online services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or available at all times. We may update, pause, change, remove, or discontinue online features at any time.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the website, online content, HVAC Monitor, portal, CTS Runner, leaderboard, forms, data, reports, charts, and online services are provided “as is” and “as available.” CTS disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability, except where a warranty cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
Specific HVAC, plumbing, water heater, installation, manufacturer, labor, financing, or service warranties may be provided separately in written job documents, manufacturer materials, invoices, or agreements. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove warranty rights that cannot legally be limited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CTS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of use, business interruption, missed alerts, unavailable portal access, leaderboard issues, or damages related to use of or inability to use the website, HVAC Monitor, portal, CTS Runner, or online services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
These limitations apply to online features and website use. Liability for paid field service, installation, repair, warranty, or product work may be governed by the applicable written estimate, invoice, service agreement, warranty, manufacturer document, or law.
Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CTS harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, portal, HVAC Monitor, CTS Runner, leaderboard, online services, submissions, account, or violation of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the website, portal, HVAC Monitor, CTS Runner, or online features after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
