CTS Air Conditioning and Heating provides HVAC, water heater, plumbing, and related home-service work in the Phoenix area. In this policy, “CTS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CTS Air Conditioning and Heating.

What this policy covers
This policy covers information collected through CTSAirConditioning.com, contact forms, service requests, email, phone and text communications, the HVAC Monitor service and portal, the CTS Runner game and leaderboard, analytics tools, and related online services.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the site or service.
- Contact and service information: name, email address, phone number, service address, billing or mailing address, appointment details, property information, service notes, photos you send us, messages, and details about the HVAC, plumbing, water heater, pool pump plumbing, or other equipment involved in the request.
- HVAC Monitor account information: account login details, email address, phone number, service address or monitored property, equipment information, device identifiers, installation details, alert preferences, portal activity, and support history.
- HVAC Monitor device and home-equipment data: current draw or electrical readings for compressor, condenser, blower, or related motors; supply-air and return-air temperature; pressure readings; audio level readings from the device; Wi-Fi network name or SSID, Wi-Fi signal strength, network status, device status, timestamps, alerts, fault signals, diagnostic readings, and other performance or environmental data generated by the monitor or connected equipment.
- CTS Runner game and leaderboard information: display name, score, level reached, date and time, local browser storage data, and server-side leaderboard entries if you submit a qualifying score. Leaderboard display names and scores may be visible publicly on the site.
- Website and analytics information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location derived from network information, cookies, local storage, and similar usage data. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Statcounter, server logs, and similar services.
- Communications: emails, text messages, phone-call details, form submissions, support requests, and other communications with us.
How we use information
We may use information to provide service, respond to requests, schedule appointments, diagnose equipment, maintain customer records, operate the HVAC Monitor portal, send alerts, support accounts, display leaderboard scores, improve the website, protect the site and our systems, detect misuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate about services.
We may also use HVAC Monitor data and related equipment data for internal analysis, troubleshooting, product development, performance modeling, trend analysis, benchmarking, quality control, training, improving diagnostics, and developing new products or services. This may include analyzing patterns across multiple air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, homes, or monitored devices.
HVAC Monitor data and third-party use
HVAC Monitor data can describe a specific home, HVAC system, account, or device. Even when the data looks technical, it may be considered personal information if it can reasonably be linked to a person, household, service address, account, or device.
We may share, license, or sell HVAC Monitor data, equipment-performance data, device telemetry, or related analysis to third parties for purposes such as product development, diagnostics, energy analysis, benchmarking, research, business development, or services related to HVAC equipment and monitoring. When practical, we may aggregate, de-identify, or pseudonymize this data before sharing it. However, you should assume that data linked to your account, device, or property may be treated as personal information unless it has been de-identified.
We do not intend to sell ordinary contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, or service address as a contact list. If we sell or share personal information as defined by applicable privacy law, eligible users may have the right to opt out.
How we share information

Leaderboard display names and scores submitted through CTS Runner may be shown publicly. Do not submit your full legal name, phone number, email address, address, or other sensitive information as a display name.
Privacy choices and opt-out requests
You may contact us to ask to access, correct, delete, or limit use of personal information associated with you, subject to legal, security, billing, service-record, and operational exceptions. You may also ask us to remove a CTS Runner leaderboard entry associated with your display name.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, email support@ctsairconditioning.com or call 480-696-5033 and say that you are making a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request. Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account, device, leaderboard entry, or service record. We may ask for limited information to verify or process your request.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Transactional, service, account, security, appointment, billing, or HVAC Monitor alert messages may still be sent when needed to provide a requested service.
California and other privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect, access or receive a copy of certain information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, opt out of certain sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, appeal a decision, or avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. We will handle verified privacy requests as required by applicable law.
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly. If our activities qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information under applicable law, we will honor legally required opt-out rights. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.
Children’s privacy
The website, HVAC Monitor, and service portal are not directed to children under 13. CTS Runner is a general-audience game, but children should not submit personal information. Players should use a short display name or initials only. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
